    I'm not sure if I posted this message in the right place before, re adverbs.
    Good point, Barry. Sometimes we're too absorbed with the academia of writing to notice that actually its just a damn good story.Tennessee William's short stories are littered with them, and loads of repititions, but the sheer exuberance of it rushes you along rather than grates on you. The impressions just build and build.
