if three books form one novel - then i think thats a novel in three parts and sounds like an epic. when i wrote my first book, i knew the story hadnt ended and so was quite sure i would write a sequel - if i were you (which i'm not so ultimately u shud do what feels right/write) i would focus on the story i have, and decide whether there is enough plot and pace to stand alone as book one. if not, then it could well be part one...hope that helps...x

hi - i dont think you need to be concerned about books 2&3 at this point - the plot outline for the first book and general ones for the others should be enough - goodluck

hi gerry - if you identify the main plot points of each chapter - that should be enough to get you started on the general plot summary...hope that helps

To write a plot? Well, start with an "A", then a space, then a "P", followed by an "L", and "O" and a "T". Easy peasy. Job done. Sorry, don't meant to be facetious - just feeling a bit playful on this lovely sunny Sunday morning. Good luck.

Well don't give up trying. Putting your work out there for criticism is always a scary thing. Whoever said 'sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me' was a big fat liar.

Under Tags, you're supposed to put what ever words will help a person find your entry/group/whatever. For Horror Group, I just put horror, group, and club. Don't know if that's right but who cares

If it asks do you want to be published in a mag, click yes, otherwise your blog will show up on your profile only and not in the blog section.
I don't know what the distinction is btw draft and published. You'll have to ask Harry. He's the expert.

Oh, and another tip, if you're answering someone, be sure to post your comment on their wall, not yours, otherwise they could miss it.

Happy blogging! Let me know how it goes.

Well ...it was an exercise in acceptance. No amount of howling would retrieve it. Interesting how calmly I handled it :-). I had actually read your frustration a few days ago, but paid not much attention, as I didn't believe I would blog for a while yet. I still feel rather insecure about my writing and my lack of experience. Last night/this mornings blog was a daring step to confront my insecurities and put something out there. Looks like I am going to have to practice again :-). Here's a question which maybe you can help me with ...what is one supposed to put under "Tags"? And another ...when it asks if you want it published in a magazine does this mean that it could leave the site? And why the distinction between "draft" and "published"? Thanks for popping in though ...misery is less effectual when you know others suffer the same afflictions too. Thanks for your advice. Gerry

It's enough to make you tear your hair out, isn't it? I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me. These day, before I post anything, I make sure to copy it (right click - copy). Then if you hit the post button and everything disappears, just right click and paste it back in again. Do this until it sticks. It might take a few tries.
