by JonB 1 year agoHi Catherine- yes it's Riomaggiore- one of the fabulous Cinque Terre. There were tourists about but it felt completely unspoiled.

by Caducean Whisks 1 year agoGlad you're the one I met - and sorry for whisking past you later - I was probably on my way to the bar. Very little distracts me at those times :) Enjoyed your cat quarantine story on Ez's blog!

by Caducean Whisks 1 year agoNice to hear that Puff is still, er, puffing. Shame your vet brother is so far away - from everywhere, except dragons. And nice to be friends. Can I ask a dim question? Are you the same Catherine I met at York last year - in the big hall? Then I can put a face to the name. Told you I was dim :)

by Weens 2 years agoI don't know if you have been back to the thread about courses, but I have been researching creative writing courses too. The London School of Journalism do a 9 - 12 month correspondence course by email or post, with no exams. Unfortunately, I can not comment on the quality of these courses, but I believe that they have a good reputation. I think I am just going to try the book Emma recommended first. Good luck

by Catherine 2 years agoLuddite here is wondering how you send an e-mail to someone on the cloud. I can write one and there is a button tantalisingly called 'send' but it doesn't do anything when you press it. Any thoughts? Maybe it's a deliberate punishment for procrastinating would-be writers...
