Bugger, people frequently accuse me of losing the damn thing and yet, to this day, I've never been in receipt of it!
Love the pic of the lodge BTW. I have planning permission for 12 of them (although a little larger than pictured), I could let you have one at a rather tasty price and in the best of neighbourhoods ;c) -
by Lady Cheryl 2 years agoHi Cate, hope you've enjoyed the new Harry Potter film - I'll be going soon as I can hogtie my hubbie and manhandle him into the car.
Thanks for asking to befriend me - I have accepted, since any writer with only one arm carrying a pixie on their hip clearly needs friends to help them type! xxxx -
by Tony 2 years agoSpooky! I was just looking at you in standing under the arch, looking fairly 'armless, when I got you friendly request. What could I do , but aquiesce?
Have a nice day. -
by Lady Cheryl 2 years agoHi, I love Alan Garner too - not many seem to have heard of him! I've got all his books and re-read them time and time again. What is this nonsense about some books being just for children? Good books written for children are enjoyed by adults too! I love the humour in the Hitchhiker series - got all those on my bookshelf too. If you like the books I do, you may like some of the stories I write - try my blog for the Great Cheshire Cheese Caper - I'd love to know what you think of it.
I come from near Manchester (Stalybridge) - but live in west Scotland now. Have you written anything you've put up on here for others to read?

by Tony 3 years agoHappy birthday, Cate. It's a lovely day down south; I hope it's great in (not too) Oldham as well!

by Writerguy 3 years agoThat's plenty of time. Remember time doesn't exist anyway, especially as you are creating your own universe. Still better do the washing up though...
