About
I'm the old-fashioned kind of writer who can't come up with anything worth a damn if I attempt to write directly onto a computer. Therefore, ink and paper is my God. Give me anything other than a fountain pen to write with and I can practically hear my prose and plot dying in my head.
On reading, I thrive on witty dialogues, leitmotif and symbolism. I love stories that inspire me, set me thinking, and if hooked I tend to read it over and over again, year after year. Terrible huh? Let's say I'm just spoilt rotten by classics. I also read fast-pacers like Da Vinci Code and Jurassic Park but I'm not inclined to write like that.
On writing, I'm kind of slow-paced (with both prose and writing speed). I like to explore a character's inner world and take note of any detail that may imply the character's personality or fate. Also I sometimes pen children's poems for fun, and illustrate them myself.
