Old Fat Prop is hiding in Notes coffee shop. Soft '40's jazz. Someone smoking a Galoius cigarette outside at an odd wiff blows in now an then. I don't smoke but it somehow makes the coffee better. ..... Wonder why that is... Contemplating binning the day and going for a liquid lunch... This place is driving me sane!!!3 days ago

Old Fat Prop Been a bit work stressed lately and not carrying it well. ......................................................................... I borrowed the wee grandson late this afternoon and we walked down to the river to feed the ducks............ He listened intently to me as I explained that our company can't expand fast enough to cover all of our commitments and we will all have to work longer and harder. .......... and he said "Ducks eat bread" and he laughed. .......and in just a flash all of the work troubles faded to nothing..... by Skylark 17 days agoThanks, Prop :-) I'm not sure what other comp it would be suitable for but I did find that I had lots of experiences queueing up to be crammed in so I could definitely do a longer version - they do say "write what you know" ;-) -

The kids are still at home at the mo - and as it's Easter hols (hooray!) maybe we've an excuse to watch the green eggs and ham video! Love Dr Seuss...talk about having fun with words! -
by Jill 1 month agoAh well! I'm going on 7/8 (shoe size!), so that makes me younger after all!! :)xx Hope you are enjoying the sun (cooler, but lovely still), as we are. Just came in for a convenience break, but you don't want to know that.... Think the radio played April Fool by reporting proposed new rules for we (not you) pensioners - getting on treadmill to prove fitness before claiming pension at post office or some such nonsense!! Have a feeling Mr J was truly taken at first!! :)x
