Ghosts

I think I am a very down to earth person, sometimes even cynical, no time for
the supernatural, but I am travelling in Poland and Wroclaw and Warsaw are
full of ghosts. They are the ghosts of soldiers and citizens, and I can both see and hear them. The reconstructed buildings vanish and they are there in the
rubble. It disorients and disturbs me.

They don't say anything to me, they don't know I'm there. Perhaps they are
    real and I'm the ghost.

Was there a storm at the time? I have read about this type of phenomeum; (Time Storms) there are hundreds of accounts going way back-people from the 20.s seeing the 90's and vice-verse.

Morning Aiyla-I'm scratching my head trying to remember where I read it; not saying it's true-(what I read was peoples accounts) one account describes about a woman from America living in the 1800's she recalls being in a storm and seeing people on some sort of flying round-about-the people are holding onto an inner rail and are dressed in what we now know to be hard hats and high vis jackets.

I think you're being shown these ghosts for a reason. Like Kaz I have often seen such things and am no longer alarmed by them. But it was definitely strange at first.

What is it about the ghosts that's so disturbing?

I've never seen a ghost but sometimes I have dreams where I feel their presence and I wake up really scared, my hands holding the quilt up to my nose as my eyes search the room.

Just thought of that film where what's her name (she used to be married to my look-alike, Tom Cruise) she is convinced the house is haunted, but finds out, her and the kids are actually the ghosts-great film.

The weather has been very fine, perfect spring days, no storms at all. I think what disturbs is that I keep getting shown images of war and "man's inhumanity to man", it is also disturbing that I understand what they are saying and they are letting me know without telling me that I am not involved, but I feel as if I should be. This probably sounds as if I have been over-sampling the
    local vodka! (which I haven't)

MY, I'm intrigued by such places; as although my husband and I have both had experiences of such here, both individually and together; I still remain very open/sceptical as to the cause etc. It takes much courage to actually feel brave enough to stand up and say yes, I've actually felt and seen this; as you imagine the majority taking you as a joker or mad...in reality this often not the case and more folk open up to experiences otherwise would have remained untold... I'm a firm believer there is a kind of rising up, and an acceptance at higher level of thought in society today... An interesting write youpenned, that easily ignites and excites the muse. Thanks for the tip off regards firefox by the way am finally through!! Big hugs too you!! Anna-Marie. ;D

Oooh you should expand on this. There's scope for a great ghost tale here. I remember when much younger visiting Pompeii, so well preserved that i felt as if invisible Romans were passing me on the streets and that a chariot would come round the corner any moment. It was eerie.
