Hey, so sorry to hear about your dog. If you want talk/reminisce write away on fb. It's cool. I'm hear to listen. And 100% understand. I still haven't recovered from Cerberus' death and I don't think I ever will. It will hurt for a while, but it's ...

Echo what the others say, katie. Perhaps, when you feel less upset and calm again, you could get together with your Mum and talk things through quietly? Give each other a 'turn' with speaking about your feelings etc., without interruption. It is ...

I've heard good things about Transactional Analysis too, at least insofar as it gives you a way to look at an issue from outside. Philip Larkin was right about parents all too often, sadly. I have no useful advice or experience to offer but only ...

As an outsider, it sounds like your mum was using 'tough love'. i.e. telling you the truth, adult to adult, rather than parent to child. In other words she was respecting you as another adult, and asking you to do the same to yourself and to her. ...

Hello,   Today I was meant to go to the doctors for a double appointment. I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen. My mum was already up as usual. I said to her "I don't think I can do this ". I was terrified! She said  "it's up to ...

I'm no expert, but you should I believe be assigned a case-worker from the council to guide you through this process. I have to say that a very competent and tenacious friend of mine fought successfully on behalf of her son who has special needs to ...

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and she said she didn't think the type of antidepressants I've been on have suited me. I agree, but I'm now on a medication that terrifies me! It's much stronger, it can raise blood pressure and cholesterol. I ...

I still haven't recovered from Cerberus' death and I don't think I ever will. It will hurt for a while, but it's perfectly fine to feel that way. You have lost a companion and it's okay to cry and mourn that. Dogs are amazing beings aren't they? One day you can give a furever home to another pup, and they will be just as amazing, like Beau is to my Cerberus Xx *hugs*

On my phone so is difficult to post back in message as always. I haven't been on Facebook since I left. They take about two weeks I think to actually delete the profile.
Why did you speak to me on there? If so it wasn't me and was my stalker... But have had no emails saying my account was reactivated so...
If I do go back I will get a brand new fb account. But I want to stay off there tbh. Even though I have been using this place and Instagram to rant some of my thoughts off its not as bad as fb tho. It's like the detox phase anyway so I'm bound to have some hic hips!!
