by Vanessa 8 months agoWe have very similar journeys...Twilight inspired me to write too...I first wrote a chick flick romance, and have been working on my trilogy ever since. I did send off to agents, but now feel very silly, since it was nowhere near polished enough...when I finish my edit of the edit of the edit I'll try again...or self publish...lol...it's a hobby not a profession...until the day I get famous of course... Hee hee

Don't know many british YA romance authors, but charlie higson is quite a good one for dark stuff. he wrote the young bond series and a good book called the enemy. P.S. saw that you like the hunger games! i think they're epic too.
