Indulge me, I am curious...
What are your top three must haves when you write? They can be food, drink, optimum room temperature, chair adjustment....

1) The Smiths
2) Tea
3) The helpful chatter of Joe

3. Maybe some music on low
2. Insomnia.
3. Large amounts of cannabis.
2 - At my desk with keboard and monitor
3 - Surrounded by my library of reference material and, of course access to the internet
That's about it really, I will write through everything and anything if I think I can get away with it!

3. A clue (not much happens without that)
2) access to a sentence that excites, or indulges
3) the expanse of the universe, proving anything is possible
If ideals cannot be achieved, I adapt to circumstance and write anyway!
Reality: very cold house, kitchen, but still with wine/tea
Muse (the group!) playing so I can sing along while I'm typing/writing. (Rock chick at heart, if not in reality!)
At least an hour of uninterrupted time so I can get something sensible written.
Secondly I need to be on top of my to-do list- cannot focus if I know I have tasks outstanding.
Third-a reliable pen. Have been known to get annoyed if the pen packs up.

it to be past midnight
a feverish desire to not hate my life by my mid twenties
not necessarily in that order.
2- paper and sharpie pencil. (I hate writing in pen and I will not type it out first. Hand writing first, then into comp, which also allows for editing.)
3- Root beer or ice cold lemon water.
