My writer's block has returned and I miss my cats.

That is all.

Sorry about your cats, SwiftLiss. As to the writer's block ~ plenty of tips on Cloud, if you search, to help release the flow once more. Jx

Thank you guys, it is an awful thing that's happened, but hopefully I will accept it one day xx

Guess you'll always miss your cats but be in no doubt that the block will pass. Check out Spangles' page as she provided some sound advice on getting writing again.

Sorry to be dim, but I've been away. Has something happened to your cats?[Oh no!] Or are you away from them temporarily?

My beloved Leo just vanished and I found our 16 month old pedigree Mirabelle dead and rotting in a field. Not a good year. x

I'm sorry lovey. Yes, I knew the awfulness about Leo and Mirabelle, but had a feeling that you'd invited more cats into your life since. No? Then I'm doubly sorry.

I don't think I can have another cat. I am a cat person, I love them but I don't think I would want another one x

Poor you. Things will get better. Don't put pressure on yourself to write. It will come back to you when the time is right. I learned that the hard way a couple of years ago.... xxx

...and when the time is right, your writing will have an added richness of experience. It's a sad reality that foul life experience fuels writers and strengthens the imperative to write.

I've had an awful year, Liss- the worst I can remember and I got writer's block while it was all still raw. I've been able to manage a bit of writing recently so I think that once you start to feel better, you'll be able to start writing again too xxx

Sorry to read this Liss. I remember your blog about losing Leo and the new kitten arriving. I hope you get back to writing again soon. x

:-( Sorry to hear things aren't great for you now, Liss -and doubly sorry to hear about your cats. Life will get back on track eventually, but for the moment, be kind to yourself. xx

Thanks Ely, we always talked about life without Leo and couldn't even contemplate it. I can't believe it's actually happened, i'm still thinking i'll see him sleeping and cramming himself into the smallest spaces.

For now i'm not thinking about what he may or may not have gone through, I'm just remembering warm memories of them both, and giving lots of love to my budgie Joseph xxx

Sorry you're having such a hard time of it. Wish I could just give you a hug, dealing with loss is never easy, but in time you might be able to write about your feelings. You might even find that helps with the writer's block. ~thinking of you~

Thanks Autumn. X You are all lovely. I know there are people out there suffering much more than me, but it seems I didn't even comprehend the effect a big furry being would have on my life x
