Cloud says it is your birthday, but is often wrong of late! If it is, have a lovely day. Think I deleted you from my 'Friends' by mistake some while back and so sending a new request. How is your poetry progressing and how are you? Jill x:)

How glorious! There's nothing so good at reminding us of what is most important in the world than a beautiful newborn baby. Congratulations!

I'm so sorry to hear about your frail condition. I imagine it's very difficult to come to terms with.

Yes, I will definitely sign up for updates about your book. Good luck again with it!

Hi, haven't seen you on here for a bit. How are you? I've seen your news about becoming a grandmother. How fantastic. You know, they say having grandkids is better than having children, you can give them back when you've had enough. There's a car sticker that says, If I had known what it was like to have grandchildren, I would have had them a lot earlier. Congrats.

Thanks for your message. Surely you're much too young to be a grandmother? But congrats anyway - I hope it all goes smoothly. Are you practising all that cooing?!

Your anthology of poetry sounds wonderful. You're quite right - we can all find time to read short poems, and I think it's often the long ones that put people off poetry. I hope your agent finds the right publisher for you. I would imagine that the recent BBC poetry season turned a lot of people on to poetry for the first time. I shall have my fingers crossed on your behalf!

Thanks for asking about my mother. She's now out of hospital and in a really good convalescent home where they concentrate on physio, to get her ready to return home.
