by Jill 1 month agoCloud says it is your birthday, but is often wrong of late! If it is, have a lovely day. Think I deleted you from my 'Friends' by mistake some while back and so sending a new request. How is your poetry progressing and how are you? Jill x:)

by Kit 2 years agoHow glorious! There's nothing so good at reminding us of what is most important in the world than a beautiful newborn baby. Congratulations!

by Weens 2 years agoCongratulations. How fabulous. Nana Ana will be easy for a little one to say. 9lb 4ozs. What did she eat whilst pregnant. Must have been fertiliser. lol. I'm very happy for you. May you have much pleasure from him.

by Spangles 2 years agoI'm so sorry to hear about your frail condition. I imagine it's very difficult to come to terms with.
Yes, I will definitely sign up for updates about your book. Good luck again with it! -
by Weens 2 years agoHi, haven't seen you on here for a bit. How are you? I've seen your news about becoming a grandmother. How fantastic. You know, they say having grandkids is better than having children, you can give them back when you've had enough. There's a car sticker that says, If I had known what it was like to have grandchildren, I would have had them a lot earlier. Congrats.

by Spangles 2 years agoThanks for your message. Surely you're much too young to be a grandmother? But congrats anyway - I hope it all goes smoothly. Are you practising all that cooing?!
Your anthology of poetry sounds wonderful. You're quite right - we can all find time to read short poems, and I think it's often the long ones that put people off poetry. I hope your agent finds the right publisher for you. I would imagine that the recent BBC poetry season turned a lot of people on to poetry for the first time. I shall have my fingers crossed on your behalf!
Thanks for asking about my mother. She's now out of hospital and in a really good convalescent home where they concentrate on physio, to get her ready to return home.
