    Unpublished writer (so far)
What genre do you primarily write in?
    General fiction
    Are your reading habits ...?
    Sophisticated
    Who is your favourite author(s)?
Graham Greene, Lawrence Durrell, Iain Banks
And your all time favourite books? (You can change these at any time, by the way ...)
The Alexandria Quartet. I have read it at least four times already and have banned myself from reading it again for at least five years so I don't overdose.

    Ten times? Why so little?
    Your ultimate writing ambition?
Can I have three? 1. Write something I would be proud to show family and friends 2. Get published (obviously) 3. Be able to leave my job and write instead (and I actually have a very good job.)
    Your worst habit?
Hot water-bottles in summer. I get cold a lot.
Your opinion on the books industry?
It is a tough game, but everyone does their best
    Where do you write?
Kitchen table, mainly. On the train is good too.
What else do you want Word Clouders to know? eg: do you have 9 cats / like paragliding / eat nothing but tinned fish / work in the bath / live in Kettering?
I'm a qualified and practising psychologist. Happy to help out with queries about mental health for anyone who is writing about this.

Definitely not making a hash of anything -you're producing lots of good stuff...We all have those times when it seems nothing's going right with the writing. It WILL pass. Keep your chin up. :)
