About
I'm an ex-Eurocrat now living in Portugal, having taken early retirement to concentrate on writing. I have written two Portugal-based novels and a third set in Amsterdam plus a fourth that we don't talk about. Book 5 is literary and set in Cologne in 1925. The trouble with the earlier books is that they were basically cross-genre (or crap....or both) so I decided to do one that was full-on thriller; strict genre. It's set in the world of aviation (that's my world) and Middle Eastern terrorism and I've had the fantastic luck to be picked up by Peter Buckman of Ampersand. Incidentally, each novel was shaped with the help, advice and red pen of Debi Alper, my editor, who is wonderful.
