by Inktrailer 1 year agoWell I'm glad she's settling in a little bit now, a couple of months and she'll be wondering why she was worried:-) Regular visits home help too, bit of release for her, and I'm glad she found the Sainsburys!
Sounds like it's running you down a bit too? I hope you'll get to put your feet up tomorrow and have some rest? -
by Chanty 1 year agoLOL, hello hun - it has been a while. Well I've not moved as yet, hell not even signed the papers for rental as yet - but saw the place today and really liked it, it's old style cottage / bungalow - but I like that and it's mega spacious too. I've not done any writing or editing... most I've done is more notes and research when I find the time. It's been crazy these last months. Aaaaaaah, I envy you - I've not had any wine since my time with Whisks, sigh - kind of really made the most of that... hee he. But will certainly make the exception and toast myself with a good bottle of red once I've managed to sort all out and move into the new place. How you doing? Besides enjoying a lovely glass of red.....sigh C xxx

by Inktrailer 1 year agoStoke, Stike... I've called it worse:p I'm sure you'll be grand with the traffic. Have a good trip tomorrow and tell her not to worry, she'll have a great time:-) Night!

by Inktrailer 1 year agoBtw - Stoke are at home to West Ham tomorrow, kick off 12.45pm I believe. Might mean more traffic up to then or from about 2.30pm, as people come and go.

by Inktrailer 1 year agoAww, tell her not to worry, it'll be fine and people wil be friendly:-) Loads of buses into Hanley from there (from the side opposite the campus) and if she wants cinema, Morrisons, bowling etc then Festival Park is easy to get to. I'd recommend using Lucky Seven taxis as they always have cars available and are quick to arrive usually - 01782 333333. The top floor of that Potteris Shopping Centre in Hanley has WHSmiths (inc PO) and a Starbucks, if she likes that. Good luck!
And thanks, I changed my pic as it made me instantly sad to log on and see wee Inks. I like this pic, nice and gloomy:-)
